I offer independent, confidential one-to-one or couples counselling, usually in person, in Weston-super-Mare. I can also offer online counselling for individuals. Please ask me for further details about this by indicating on the contact form.
Relevant Qualifications & Memberships
Diploma in Theology and Christian Ministry from Trinity College, Bristol (awarded by Bristol University)
Diploma in Counselling from Network Counselling, Bristol (awarded by University of Gloucester)
Certificate in Couples Counselling from See For Miles Ltd, Marlborough
Registered Member of the Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC)
Costs
For individual counselling I charge £25 for an initial meeting in order to cover my costs. This session, which lasts up to 60 minutes, gives us the chance to look at the issues which brought you to counselling.
Each subsequent session is charged at £48, although a discount is available for blocks of six sessions booked and paid for in advance.
For couples counselling I charge £35 for the initial meeting and £60 for each session thereafter.
The sessions are 60 minutes maximum duration. Please note that I only offer counselling on a weekly basis as experience has shown this to be therapeutically more beneficial than on a fortnightly basis.
